The Homestead
Built Circa 1808

The Samuel B. Dottridge Homestead reflects life in coastal Cotuit during the first half of the 19th century. Samuel was a carpenter with interests in the salt works industry. He and his wife Abigail raised seven children in this wood frame Cape Cod style house.

The large kitchen has a fireplace with bake oven and a collection of cooking implements, red ware pottery and wooden ware.
