The Museum

The Museum Building, located directly behind the Homestead, offers regional items from the permanent collection and features ship models, Cotuit souvenir China, photographs, quilts, advertising signs, whaling artifacts, tools, fans, and the office of Dr. Donald Higgins.

The museum will be open on Saturday, May 24th from 10 am - 4 pm and on Sunday, May 25th from 1-4 pm. From May 31st through September 1st, the museum will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 pm. Docent Tours are available.

 
The Fire Museum
A 1916 Model T Ford Fire Engine is the centerpiece of the Fire Museum. It was the first mechanized fire truck on Cape Cod . Richard B. Pierce, a longtime volunteer with the Cotuit Fire Company, restored the fire engine.
