The Museum Building, located directly behind the Homestead, offers regional items from the permanent collection and features ship models, Cotuit souvenir China, photographs, quilts, advertising signs, whaling artifacts, tools, fans, and the office of Dr. Donald Higgins.

The museum will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 5 pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day. (The homestead is open from 1 - 4 pm during this period.)
